I'm going for a time lapse photography feel on this... This is an experiment that got out of hand! While doing some Adobe AIR R&D I made an AIR application that rigged a web cam to take pictures when a pre-defined level of motion was detected. The web cam feed was then turned into a png format image and saved to the computer's hard drive. After leaving the application running I had a lot of sequential images saved on my computer.
I had the idea to run the images as time-lapse photography film. From there I batch processed a selection of the images in Photoshop to reduce their dimensions and file size. Then I imported them to the Flash timeline and added some sound and simple movie controls. This was great fun and proved a concept but the file size is too large for any long-running practical use.
